ACCREDITATION

LICENSED ISLAMIC PROFESSIONAL COUNSELLORS (LIPC)

The LIPC is an awarding organisation which seeks to offer Muslims and non-Muslims the opportunity to become accredited Islamic Counsellors.

The LIPC offers a variety of different programmes tailored for individuals across the whole spectrum – from scholars to mainstream counsellors, to doctors, engineers etc.

The LIPC board consists of leading Psychologists, Counsellors and Scholars who oversee the whole operation.

ROOTED IN ISLAMIC TRADITION

 

The LIPC aims to provide a qualification which accredits individuals who not only have demonstrated a firm understanding of the western psychology, psychotherapy and counselling model, but also of the Islamic tradition which will give them a deep and profound understanding of other dimensions in this area of study.

MAINSTREAM PSYCHOLOGY

 

The LIPC is an advocate of the Western mainstream psychology model and aims to combine its strengths with the Islamic Tradition to create a holistic counselling framework.
