Can I get a refund if I cannot attend the course anymore?
Most of our courses are online and long distance. Once you register and pay there is no refund.
Is it segregated?
Although there will not be any barriers or drapes to separate brothers and sisters, it is expected for bothers to sit closer to the stage, and the sisters to be sat at the back of the venue. This will not matter for the online courses.
Will I receive any course material?
On the day, you will be provided with a course booklet which our instructors have worked exceptionally hard to devise. These booklets will consist of all the key points highlighted and analysed during the day.
Will there be any exams?
There will be essays and other means of examinations. Please see specific course booklet for more information.
If a course is two days, do I have to attend both days?
Yes you have to attend full two days. If however you miss any of the day, you may watch the live recording after. This will depend on how long it takes for the admin to upload on the website.
I cannot afford it, are there any bursaries?
At the moment there are no bursaries.
If I am a qualified Counsellors, do I have to re-do Counselling modules?
It will depend on the course. Please see specific course booklet.
If I am a Qualified Counsellor, can I become LIPC accredited by just completing the necessary modules?
No, the LIPC course is unique course which has not been taught anywhere else. In order to obtain LIPC you must attend the course.
Could I attend only selected modules on the LIPC programme?
No. You must enrol for the entire programme.
Who will assess/mark my thesis?
The LIPC will be assessed by the teachers in the academic and traditional manner.
Do you have any full-time programmes?
Our Islamic Counselling courses are tailored for individuals who work full-time as well as individuals seeking to further their qualifications, hence, in order make it flexible all our programmes are part-time.
If I cannot pay the annual fee in one sum, can I pay in instalments?
For the LIPC course you will have to pay upfront.
If I drop-out, can I get my fees refunded?
There are no refunds.
Do I need to show evidence of my Islamic/Counselling background?
Yes. If you are an imam, shariah graduate, or a qualified mainstream counsellor, you will need to show evidence of your qualifications during enrolment.
