In 1997, Shaykh Zuber Karim graduated with a BA/MA equivalent in Islamic theology from Bury Islamic College where he studied the Sunnah, Qur’an and Fiqh.

He has since worked within the capacity of an imam in Perth Mosque, Dundee University and the Ninewells Hospital. In 2003, he was appointed as a senior lecturer in Usul al-Fiqh and Tafsir at IMZ School in Dundee. In 2009, he attained an MA in Islamic Banking, Finance and Management.

Since 2013, he has been appointed at the Imam for Al Maktoum Mosque. He is also a researcher and director of Intelligence Finance Consultancy, in addition to being a freelance translator of Islamic scripts.
